The Holiday Inn Express & Suites is in search of a reliable, hardworking person to join our front desk team! Customer service experience a must; hotel experience preferred.
The primary duties of a Guest Service Agent is to assist guests with check-in & check-out processes, provide guests with hotel services information, and accommodate guests during their stay in an attentive, courteous and friendly manner.
A Guest Service Agent must possess a positive and upbeat personality, have the ability to multi-task, be detailed oriented, and be able to problem solve to be able to fulfill the needs of our guests.
The primary responsibilities of a Guest Service Agent are: *General front desk duties, such as making reservations, checking guests in and out.*Handle cash during shift. Balancing at the beginning and end of shift.
*Ability to communicate effectively with guests, vendors, and other associates.
*Coordinate with the front desk and restaurant to facilitate a smooth operation of file maintenance and reset of systems for the next day’s operation.
*Ensure all reports are completed and filed properly.
*Ensure all necessary copies of documentation and reports of daily work are distributed to the proper department
.*Must enjoy working with people.
Education: High school graduate or equivalent. Must be proficient with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office & Excel.
Experience: Previous hotel-related experience preferred. Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays.
