The General Labor is a line position. This position is an extremely important aspect in the operations and management of production. Responsibilities include operations within a manufacturing environment, and physical requirements are involved, such as lifting, loading and carrying products. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
The General Labor is expected to be able to manage timeliness of production output in a manner that safely and efficiently produces quality product within defined schedules. The General Labor is responsible for managing the set up and finish of items run and manufactured as they come off the lines. i.e. unitizing, bundling quality control, hand assembly, maintaining the production schedule, and working with a crew to ensure the equipment, tooling and work area is safe, clean, well maintained and organized.
